The 4th Connexion ShenZhen Concludes Successfully: A Three-Day Highlight Recap and See You Next Edition!

On October 15, the three-day 4th Connexion Shenzhen successfully concluded at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao’an).

Spanning 180,000 square meters across 9 exhibition halls with over 2,000 exhibitors, the show united two flagship themed exhibitions covering ten specialized sectors, presenting a sourcing and exchange platform encompassing raw materials, products, production equipment, and commercial applications for professional buyers from home and abroad. Over three days, product showcases, professional knowledge-sharing, and supply-demand negotiations converged on-site, giving industry professionals across different fields the opportunity to understand one another’s needs and explore potential collaborations. As this edition draws to a close, let’s look back at the highlights worth remembering from these three days.

This edition was structured around two themed exhibitions — “Catering, Hotel, Furniture, Health & Lifestyle” and “Food Processing & Packaging, Catering Equipment & Commercial Appliances ” — bringing together products and supporting resources spanning the consumer, operational, and production ends of the industry. Professional buyers were able to compare different categories and learn about relevant suppliers all within a single event, tailored to their own business needs.

Food, Beverage & Coffee/Tea: Showcasing New Possibilities for Product Selection and Launches

Food ingredients, coffee and tea, bakery and desserts, alcoholic beverages, and related equipment together formed a rich showcase of the food and beverage supply chain. Physical product displays, live demonstrations, and on-site exchanges provided a more direct basis for comparison in store product selection, menu development, and supply chain procurement.

The show brought together premium full-chain resources across ten sectors — coffee & tea, comprehensive beverages, comprehensive food & catering ingredients, catering equipment, tableware, private label & OEM, bakery/desserts & light meals, comprehensive alcoholic beverages, gifts & lifestyle products, and group catering supply chain — gathering leading suppliers and cutting-edge products from every niche segment of the industry chain, presenting a feast of quality for the hospitality and catering industry.

Viral bestsellers, debut annual new products, and ready-to-implement complete solutions were unveiled one after another, sparking a dynamic exchange of ideas and business opportunities. Fresh inspiration continued to flow, fueling further momentum for the Greater Bay Area’s catering sector and giving rise to more exciting and promising new business possibilities.

Hotel Furniture & Commercial Spaces: Connecting Design Procurement with Operational Needs

Commercial furniture, soft furnishings and design, hotel supplies, decorative materials, smart lighting, and smart hotel solutions illustrated the connection between spatial design and daily operations. Professionals in the hotel and commercial space sector were able to learn about materials, application scenarios, and supporting services based on their project needs, building a reference base for future procurement and solution refinement.

Health, Nutrition & Natural Ingredients: Addressing New Demands in Niche Markets

Health and nutrition products, functional foods, and related raw materials provided exchange content for brand product selection, product development, and channel partnerships. This year’s newly added Silver Economy & Silver-Tech Zone also opened a new window for visitors to explore niche markets and overseas products. This edition featured a full-category health and nutrition product matrix, covering nutritional supplements, dietary and medicinal tonic products, beauty and anti-aging products, pet nutrition products, natural organic products, new wellness and health products, and smart elderly care & silver-tech products. A diverse array of bestselling products and cutting-edge technologies were showcased side by side, drawing significant attention from industry peers who stopped to exchange ideas and explore partnerships.

Processing, Packaging & Commercial Equipment: Responding to Upgrade Needs in Production and Operations

Food processing and packaging machinery, catering equipment, commercial appliances, automation products, and cleaning solutions extended the exhibition’s scope into production, back-of-house, and facility operations. Product displays and technical exchanges gave buyers the opportunity to learn about equipment configurations, usage conditions, and service plans based on their actual operational conditions.

Booth negotiations, business matchmaking, and buyer delegation visits created direct opportunities for exchange between supply and demand. Discussions centered on product applications, supply terms, customization needs, and project requirements, helping buyers further clarify their procurement direction while allowing exhibitors to gain a more direct understanding of different market priorities.

HOTELEX Shenzhen Food & Beverage Sourcing Matchmaking Session

At the same time, deeply rooted in South China and anchored in the Greater Bay Area market, the exhibition partnered with local industry organizations to specifically invite leading enterprises from Shenzhen, Dongguan, Hong Kong, Hainan, and other regions to form professional buyer delegations for on-site viewing, product selection, and procurement. A steady stream of quality sourcing demand and large-value intent orders continued to be generated.

HSP Business Matchmaking Session

Over three days, under one roof: whether you are a hotel owner, engineering contractor, design agency, procurement agent, or e-commerce product selector — here, concepts could be directly connected with supply chains, design drawings could be quickly matched with construction resources, and annual procurement plans could be completed in a single visit through comparative sourcing and selection. The HSP Business Matchmaking Session ran concurrently, precisely matching supply and demand so that every negotiation produced results.

Southeast Asia Buyer Business Matchmaking Session

The Southeast Asia Buyer Business Matchmaking Session drew enthusiastic participation. Over the course of the event, more than 100 negotiation sessions took place in close succession, with frequent and efficient exchanges between both sides, resulting in tangible negotiation outcomes and partnership intentions.

New Health Channels · Leading Retail Channel Sourcing Matchmaking Session

The “New Health Channels · Leading Retail Channel Sourcing Matchmaking Session” and the “Overseas Buyer Business Matchmaking Session (Health & Nutrition Products)” were held in the business matchmaking zone of Hall 5, specially inviting leading e-commerce platforms, MCN agencies, livestream influencers, and private-domain group-buying operators on-site for precise business matchmaking with exhibitors.

Beyond product showcases, industry forums, professional competitions, and themed experiences together formed the exchange content of this edition. While touring the show, visitors also had the opportunity to gain insights, observe skills, and learn how products enter real-world applications and consumer scenarios.
